# EUDR Implementatie — belanghebbendenbijeenkomst 4 december 2023

> Historische Nederlandse implementatiepresentatie uit december 2023. De slides documenteren de toenmalige projectorganisatie, het advies om de NVWA als bevoegde autoriteit aan te wijzen, voorbereiding van toezicht en handhaving, de rol van Douane en het ontwerp van het zorgvuldigheidsproces. Een belangrijk uitvoeringspunt was dat een ingediende zorgvuldigheidsverklaring met nummer niet gelijkstaat aan goedkeuring door de NVWA. De presentatie is een tijdsdocument, geen juridische interpretatiebron.

The slides document the project organisation at that time, the recommendation to designate the NVWA as competent authority, preparation of supervision and enforcement, the role of Customs and the emerging due diligence process. A key implementation message was that a submitted due diligence statement with a number does not constitute NVWA approval. The presentation is a historical snapshot, not a source of legal interpretation.
